As a Citibank customer, you have access to a range of banking options including Internet Banking, CitiPhone Banking and a worldwide ATM network.
Easi-Pay is Citibank's convenient Direct Debit facility which enables you to have the regular payments to your Citibank account automatically debited from your nominated bank account held within Australia.
To apply, simply download and complete the relevant Easi-Pay application form below and return the original to Citibank in order for the facility to be set up on the account.

- You can pay bills for over 14,000 billers from your Citibank accounts. Look for the BPAY logo on your bill. Depending on the type of bill, you can choose to pay from your savings account, loan account or credit card. Using your Citibank credit card to pay bills is a great way of earning Rewards points - these can be redeemed for vouchers, gifts or Qantas Frequent Flyer points!

- Where you are paying in cash and cheques to a deposit account, Citibank advises you to pay cash and cheque elements in on separate deposit slips to ensure cash is cleared promptly without being subject to cheque clearance times.
- Australia Post will not accept payments to an account in a business name. It is recommended that business account holders use National Australia Bank branches.
Cheque Clearance Guidelines:
- Clearance days are based on business days in all cases. Allowances should therefore be made for Public Holidays and weekends.
- While the times quoted below are based on the standard cheque clearance processes; they should only be used as a guideline. A cheque should not be considered cleared until it appears as cleared funds in your account.
- When making a cheque payment to your account, it will assist us if you make your cheque payable to your Citibank account number and specify your account type e.g. Citibank Platinum Credit Card account number. It would also assist us in processing your payment if you write the actual account number on the back of your cheque.
- Cheques payable to the accountholder may also be accepted (e.g. dividend cheque, Medicare refund, etc) but cheques payable to a third party will not be accepted.
^Including Personal Credit, Business Credit and Diners Club Credit Line
*Where clearance falls on a Saturday, you can access funds via ATM/EFTPOS/Australia Post , or make deposits & payments via CitiPhone Banking and Citibank Online.
You can make payments at any Australia Post office displaying the Bank@Post™ symbol using cash or EFTPOS and they'll be processed immediately. Remember to take your deposit slip (see below for more information on deposit booklets) and your Credit/Access Card for a faster transaction. For payments made at any other Australia Post. Please allow 48 hours for the payment to reach your account. When paying by cheque at any Australia Post office, please allow seven business days for the cheque to clear. However, funds will be considered received the day the cheque is deposited. Fees apply.
National Australia Bank accepts deposits into your Citibank Mortgage, as well as your Deposit and Transaction accounts.
For payments made at National Australia Bank using cash, payment will reach your account the next business day (or Saturday if deposited on Friday). When paying by cheque (or mixed cash and cheque), please allow three business days for the cheque to clear. However, funds will be considered received the day the cheque is deposited.
Please note: If you are depositing funds by cheque, you must have a pre-encoded deposit book (see below for more information on deposit books). However if you are depositing cash you can use a National Australia Bank deposit slip.
You can use your deposit book to make a deposit or payment into your account by mail, at Australia Post or at a National Australia Bank (for Deposit accounts and Mortgages only).
You can order a deposit book online by signing onto our secure Internet banking website, Citibank Online. Once signed on, select 'Account Services' located at the top of the screen, then 'Banking Services' in the sub-menu. From the list of options, select 'Request a Cheque/ Deposit Book' and the account on which you'd like to order the deposit book and then select 'Next'. Allow approximately 7-10 working days for delivery of your new deposit book.
You can also order by calling CitiPhone on 13 24 84, or by mailing us a request (or sending us the reorder voucher from your existing deposit book) to Citibank Banking Services, GPO Box 40, Sydney NSW 2001.
