What is PayID?
When you set up a PayID, you’re setting up a quick and easy way to receive payments. Your PayID can be an easy to remember identifier, such as your telephone number or email address which is securely linked to your bank account. Once linked, you can share your PayID instead of your BSB and account number to receive fast payments.

What is Osko?
Osko by BPAY® is a secure service for the New Payments Platform that facilitates sending and receiving near real-time payments.
If your account is eligible, you’ll begin using Osko automatically when making payments to an account or PayID. Click here for the list of eligible products.

1. When will fast payments, using Osko and PayID be available to use with my Citi account/s?
From the 25 May 2020 you will be able send and receive fast payments to eligible customers using Osko. Please download the latest Citi Mobile® App to access the latest features.
2. What will be the benefits of PayID and how will it work?
Your PayID can be an easy to remember identifier, such as your telephone number or email address which is securely linked to your bank account. Once linked, you can share your PayID instead of your BSB and account number to receive fast payments.
3. Who can register a PayID?
Personal customers with eligible products can use their existing telephone number or email addresses that are registered with Citibank as their PayID.
4. Will PayID replace BSB and account numbers when making a payment?
PayIDs will not replace BSB and account numbers. You can still make a fast payment to a BSB and account number from an eligible product.
5. Do I need to do anything to be able to receive fast payments using Osko?
No, as long as your product and account is eligible, we can process the payment as a fast payment. A List of eligible products can be found
here. Please note that the payment needs to be sent from an account that is eligible to send fast payments.
6. Why can I receive fast payments using Osko from other banks but cannot send fast payments from my Citi account?

7. When will I be able to send fast payments using Osko and PayID?
From the 25 May 2020 you will be able setup and use PayID. Please download the latest Citi Mobile App to access the latest features.
8. What is the transaction limit for fast payments?
If you are making a fast payment to a BSB and account number the daily limit is $5000. For payments above $5000 you will have the option to continue as an overnight payment.
If you are making a fast payment to a PayID the daily limit is $5000.
9. What should I do if my fast payment is rejected?
If your fast payment is rejected Citibank will send you a communication with the rejection reason and next steps. Based on the rejection reason, you may have the option to resubmit the payment as an overnight payment via Citibank Online.
