Recovery Assist provides a lump sum benefit of up to $100,000 should you be diagnosed with cancer or one of 22 other listed conditions to help cover your medical costs, reduce debts, or even to take a holiday to help you recover. There are two cover options, Cancer Assist and Cancer Assist Plus.
- Apply online or over the phone, with no medical or blood tests required, just a few simple health and lifestyle questions.
- Receive a 10% discount if you choose cover of $100,000.
- Upgrade your cover to Cancer Assist Plus to be covered for a further 22 listed medical conditions or procedures.

How to apply
You are eligible to apply for Recovery Assist if you:
- Are aged 18 and 55 years (inclusive)
- Are an Australian citizen or hold an Australian Permanent Residency visa
- Reside in Australia at the time of applying and receive the PDS in Australia
